Hi folks, I am primarily setting up this blog for the purpose of showing images of my knitting, spinning, dyeing, photography and metalwork, etc,. Who knows what else I may add later.
I am the type who loves designer names, but only when I can find them at Thrift-Store prices. In other words, those balloons are mighty pretty, but a bit over inflated. I can behave my self when I am in a suit and not feel out of place, but I think I look much better in a pair of Carharts and a 'T' shirt. I way overthink a lot of things, and always try to look at situations from all angles before making my final analysis of a situation or idea. If a diamond didn't have all its facets, it wouldn't have that sparkle that makes one look at it in awe.
Funny story on the black and white hat, it got stained after wearing it in the rain when some red dye transferred from another item, so I over-dyed the whole hat with a cherry red and now it's red and black.
The pattern is self written and the design is my initials, [G-S] interlocked like a greek key design [hence, geek-key as the title of the pattern].
I have the pattern as a PDF file and I am going to try to vend it through my LYS [Local Yarn Shop] but it isn't ready to go quite yet.
